Currently, we are looking for a Head of Production Wingcopter Inc. (m/f/d) to join our Team.
What You’ll Do:
Be a responsible and representative for the production site of Wingcopter Inc.
Execute and guarantee the finalization of the industrial manufacturing of Wingcopter products in alignment with the supply chain of the German headquarter
Ensure the production standards of a Wingcopter product in accordance to approved design data
Develop, revise and update quality check procedures as required in coordination with the Quality Department
Issuing authorized released documents under Wingcopter production certificate. Better check if the release is for HoP or HoQ
Create productive and transparent relationships with the FAASupporting HoQ in auditing supplier in accordance to FAA standards
Conduct goods receiving and incoming goods inspection by storing aircrafts and spare parts from GER
Conduct the shipment of the finished aircraft to customer and ensure the correct handling of customs
Manage and develop the local team of the production site
Implement and maintain work safety standards per applicable local regulations
Be responsible for inventory management within production
Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve results in all areas
Work to continuously improve in all areas
Perform all company business in accordance with all regulations and company policy and procedures of Wingcopter GER
What You’ll Need:
A Bachelor´s degree preferred or relevant work experience in all aspects of production and manufacturing, with specialization on aviation, aerospace engineering and management or other related field
5+ years of experience in issuing airworthiness approvals for aircrafts, aircraft engines, unmanned aircraft systems or rotorcrafts (according to FAR 23/ 25/ 27 or 29)
In-depth knowledge of FAA 14 CFR Part 21-G requirements to authorize the release of products under the scope of Wingcopter Production Certificate
Leadership experience and high degree of self-organization
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment
Ability to communicate effectively with others
Self-motivated and proactive tendencies that require minimal supervision, work comfortable in a cross-functional setting and in a constantly evolving environment, and demonstrate the ability to stay calm in stressful and uncertain times, inspiring the same in the team
Experience in model flight (multi-rotor and fixed wing) is a plus
Willingness to travel for short and extended trips to GER as needed
